A wonderful dinner buffet followed and was served in the Ruths Chris kitchen for a very unique setting and a chance to show off a beautiful kitchen. During dinner everyone took time to reflect on the progress they have made and the mission of stewardship that everyone looks towards in the future. Also, there was a special room to showcase Hyatt Pastry Chef Julie Weldeles deserts for all to taste. Singer Erin Bode provided holiday tunes to set the mood.

The intergalactic celebration was held at [WHERE] Central Library, where guests were invited to wear cocktail attire or dress as their favorite science fiction-inspired character. In addition to the gala fundraiser, [HIGHLIGHTS] library lovers and science fiction ‘geeks’ from all over the globe can show their support by purchasing a chance to win tickets to Comic-Con 2018 in San Diego, Calif. The 2nd prize winner will be featured in the Lion Forge comic, “The Lion’s Den.” All prizes courtesy of Lion Forge Comics. Chairs for this year’s event are [WHO] Megan and Tom Wall and Erica and Bryan Willert.
