Why: Not only was this the annual Ducks Unlimited fund raising event, but it was a celebration of DU's 75th Anniversary, the Missouri Department of Conservation's 75th Anniversary and the conservation partnerships that have developed between these and other groups.
Who: Event Chair, Jim Blaire and Co-Chair, Chris McKee; Joe McKee, Tom Stillman and Director of Missouri Department of Conservation, Bob Ziehmer
Highlights: Besides the auctions, cocktails and dining, the evening enhanced by wonderfully ornate and splendid Peabody Opera house. Funds raised for DU's wetland and habitat initiatives exceeded $300,000.
