Tennessee Society

  • The Tennessee Society of St. Louis honored the memory of seventh U.S. President Andrew Jackson, while toasting the great state of Tennessee, and acknowledging St.Louisans with Tennessee heritage. In Attendance were society president Richard and Paula Russell; guest speaker Thomas Price, who is curator and president of the James K. Polk Museum in Columbia, Tenn.; five generations of the Peck family, and many others. Highlights were a scrumptious dinner that included roast duck as well as dancing to The Tennessee Waltz and Rocky Top Tennessee.
